$su - oracle
$ cd $ORACLE_HOME/bin
$ ls netca*
netca
$netca
DISPLAY environment variable is not set!
........
So I began to set the DISPLAY variable:
$DISPLAY=:0.0
$export DISPLAY
$echo $DISPLAY
:0.0
But when I execute netca again, it showed the error message as below:
Oracle Net Services Configuration:
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: no protocol is specified
Then I refered to the following content:
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server | |
|
It's said that I should execute the command "xhost +". What does "+" here mean?
I can only find the xhost in /usr/openwin/bin but I can't execute it. Why?
To be continued...
I use the 'oracle' account to login the operating system,then I execute the 'netca' command and it started.I wonder why. Maybe I must set the correct environment variables when using root account.
