Raspberry Pi 4 Headless Setup

Install OS

add a file named “ssh” into boot folder

On your laptop, find ip address of Raspberry Pi

C:\Windows\System32>ping raspberrypi -4

Pinging raspberrypi.local [192.168.0.90] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.0.90: bytes=32 time=8ms TTL=64
Reply from 192.168.0.90: bytes=32 time=3ms TTL=64

Ping statistics for 192.168.0.90:

Now you can ssh

ssh pi@192.168.0.90

This is a security risk - please login as the 'pi' user and type 'passwd' to set a new password.


Wi-Fi is currently blocked by rfkill.
Use raspi-config to set the country before use.
