Install MATLAB R1020b

Steps:

1.Mount .iso

$ sudo mount -o loop matlab.iso  /mnt/iso/

Run the installition

$ sudo ./install

Follow the instruction to install and activate.

2.Libc is lack by default, so the information will be given when running MATLAB first time.

error while loading shared libraries: libXp.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Download libXp-1.0.0-15.1.el6.x86_64.rpm(backuplink) and install it.

3.Add the directory MATLAB located in to $PATH by attaching this line to  /etc/profile:

EXPORT PATH=/usr/local/MATLAB/R2010b/bin:$PATH
