1.download erlang from its website

2../configure & make & sudo make install

3.quick tip for emacs:c+x c+s:save file;c+x c+c: exit from emacs

4.program the first erlang(test.erl):

-module(test).
-export([fac/1]).

fac(0) ->1;
fac(N) ->N*fac(N-1).

5.shell>erl

    c(test).

    test:fac(20).
