【天光学术】文艺美学论文:美学视角下“隐秀”与“幽玄”的对比分析(节选)

摘要:“隐秀”是日本“幽玄”范畴的一个重要来源。二者有着共通的理论渊源和精神源头——道教。另外, 二者具有共同的审美理想, 分别注重“隐”和“余情”, 即追求“言外之意”的含蓄之美。但二者在文学创作和审美风格上又存在着差异。刘勰在《文心雕龙》中对“隐秀”进行阐释时强调, 在文辞之中要有独拔于全篇的绝妙警句, 而日本“幽玄”论则无强调秀句的作用, 反而更看重整体美的审美意蕴。在审美风格差异上, 一方面, “隐秀”强调直接的视觉体验性, “幽玄”则追求飘忽不定的朦胧美;另一方面, “隐秀”偏重自然天成之美, “幽玄”则追求刻意雕琢之美。值得注意的是, 这两个美学范畴在一定程度上都是对各自文化的反映、提炼和总结。

Abstract: “Yin Xiu” in the category of Chinese aesthetics is an important source of “You Xuan” in that of Japanese aesthetics and they have a common theoretical origin and spiritual source, i.e. Taoism. What’s more, they have the same aesthetic idea, with the former focusing on “implicit beauty” and the latter focusing on “lingering beauty”, namely, pursuing the unspoken implicit beauty. But there are differences between them in literary creation and aesthetic style. “Yin Xiu” has been emphasized by Liu Xie in his The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons, i.e. an excellent aphorism or sentence should be created in the whole text. On the contrary, Japanese “You Xuan” pays more attention to the aesthetic implication of the overall beauty rather than excellent sentences. Moreover, the difference between “Yin Xiu” and “You Xuan” is also reflected in aesthetic style. For one thing, “Yin Xiu” stresses direct visual experience while “You Xu
