1. disable selinux
vi /etc/selinux/config
SELINUX=disabled
reboot (reboot server)
sestatus (check result)
2. install epel, the source for yum
cd ~
wget http://ftp.riken.jp/Linux/fedora/epel/6/x86_64/epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm
3. install docker
yum install lxc libcgroup
yum install docker-io
/etc/init.d/docker start
ps -ef | grep docker (check result, if there is a process for /usr/bin/docker -d, it's successful)
4. config docker network
if we use command "ifconfig", will find a new network adapter "docker" with address "172.17.*.*", it cant connect to network, so we will delete it and install a new adapter
/etc/init.d/docker stop (stop docker)
ifconfig docker0 down (stop docker0 network adapter)
brctl delbr docker0 (delete docker0)
vi /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
add a new line: BRIDGE=br0
vi /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-br0
DEVICE=br0
ONBOOT=yes
NM_CONTROLLED=no
BOOTPROTO=static
TYPE=Bridge
IPADDR=192.168.1.100
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
GATEWAY=192.168.1.1
/etc/init.d/network restart (restart network)
yum install bridge-utils (install network bridge br0)
