Mac install python3 and pip3 and configure path

一. Python3 Configuration

1.Download python3

https://www.python.org/downloads/macos/   select Stable Releases MacOS bit-64 installer universal2 version, then open and install.

 

 2.Execute "which python3" command to find the location of python3

3.Excecute which pip3 to find location of pip3. (When python3 installed successfully, pip should be installed as well.)

4.Execute open .bash_profile command in terminal to open .bash_profile then add 3 rows content as bellow.

export PATH=${PATH}:/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.10/bin/python3
alias python="/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.10/bin/python3"
alias pip="/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.10/bin/pip3"

Close .bash_profile then execute source ~/.bash_profile to initial.

5.Execute "python --version" to verify python3 configuration is success.

 

6.Execute pip --version to verify pip configuration is success.
