Linux关于yum安装vim及其他配置失败的问题

我在CentOS6 Linux系统中安装vim编辑器时出现了如下图的问题

后来网上搜索了相关的问题，知道了CentOS6已经在2020年11月30日停止维护了，centos官方停止了对centos6的所有更新，并且下架了包括官方所有的centos6源，所以CentOS6的系统无法使用了，后来根据该博主的修改方案，vim可以安装成功了。
我的修改方案如下：
通过网上的解答，我使用了阿里云centos-vault源
我的镜像文件问Centos 6.5
输入 vi /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo指令

后来在执行yum clean all && yum makecache指令是报错

Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: epel. Please verify its path and try again 

搜索文章后将epel.repo 文件里的enabled=1改为enabled=0再执行yum clean all && yum makecache没有报错，后续执行yum install vim指令也不报错了。
