centos install network as bridge

Environment

host: centos 6.3

gust: windows xp

steps：

1. Change the content of /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-p6p1 as below:

BRIDGE=br0

#NM_CONTROLLED="yes"
ONBOOT=yes
#TYPE="Ethernet"

#DEFROUTE=yes
#IPV4_FAILURE_FATAL=yes
#IPV6INIT=no
NAME=eth0
#HWADDR=D0:67:E5:31:4A:72
#PEERDNS=yes
#PEERROUTES=yes
#LAST_CONNECT=1353473873
#BRIDGE=br0

2. Add a new file named ifcfg-br0 under /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts

DEVICE=br0
BOOTPROTO=dhcp
ONBOOT=yes
TYPE=bridge

3. Stop netwok manager. Command is

   service NetworkManager stop

4. Change the the adapter to bridge

4.1 source device: host device p6p1(Bridge 'br0')

4.2 Device model:virtio

5. add a hardware(floopy)

attch the driver to the added floppy.

6. Install the driver the the new added adapter.
