The database monitor in SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP collects performance data from two sources:
->The monitor relies on performance data collected by the relevant database system.
-> A portion of the performance data is entered and collected directly by the SAP system, for example, in the database interface for the SAP work processes.
Database Administration Cockpit (DBA Cockpit)
TOOLS • CCMS • DB ADMINISTRATION • DBA COCKPIT
The DBA Cockpit has been available as of SAP NetWeaver Version 7.0 Availability and replaces the old transactions for database performance (ST04), database locks (DB01), data management (DB02), and planning calendar and database jobs (DB12, DB13, DB13C, and DB24). This section presents the new monitor as an example for Oracle databases.
With SAP Basis 7.10, the DBA Cockpit was partially changed to the Web Web Ul User Interface (UI, in Web Dynpro ABAP technology). The URL to call the web access directly is http:// <server>:<port>/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/dba_cockpit (SAP Note 1245200 describes the configuration of the associated web services)
