ppt powerpoint 2000 2003 2007 2010 2013 2016插入视频的方法

今天需要在ppt中插入视频，颇费周折，记录如下

1）手持摄像机拍摄的视频，使用会声会影截取中间的片断，并且分享为mp4格式，查看文件信息如下

然后插入ppt2016中，方法很简单，插入-视频-调整大小位置即可（菜单栏会多出个视频选项卡，可以进行相关设置如自动播放，隐藏视频，形状等）。预览时正常，然后播放ppt，结果发现视频只出现首页，再也不能播放，哪怕是单击或者自动都不行。考虑是否是格式问题，转成wmv也不行。懊恼异常，又去百度。

Why Can't Insert MP4 into PowerPoint?
For PowerPoint 2007, 2003 or lower version: According to Microsoft PowerPoint official website, PowerPoint 2007, 2003 or lower version only supports WMV, AVI, ASF, and MPG/MPEG four video formats. If you import other video formats like MP4 to those version of PowerPoint, it will end in fail.


For PowerPoint 2010: Though PowerPoint 2010 announced to embed and play MP4 files, it has some limitations:


Limitation 1: You need have the QuickTime player installed on your computer and you can only insert an Apple QuickTime movie (.mov, .mp4) file to PPT 2010.
Limitation 2: The PowerPoint 2010 64-bit version is not compatible with 32-bit versions of QuickTime. You must install a 64-bit version of QuickTime, or a 32-bit version of PowerPoint 2010.
For PowerPoint 2016 and 2013: In PowerPoint 2013, .mp4 videos encoded with H.264 video (a.k.a. MPEG-4 AVC) and AAC audio is recommended. However, even though your video file have the .mp4 file extension, it may not play correctly if the correct version of the codec is not installed, or if the file is not programmed in a format that is recognized by your version of Microsoft Windows.


How to Successfully Insert MP4 to PPT and Play MP4 in PowerPoint?
In order to successfully add and play any MP4 files on any version of PowerPoint, a recommended solution is convert MP4 to PowerPoint more compatible video format like AVI, WMV, ASF, MPG.

太奇怪了。

几个小时后，再次研究。

突然想到，我是两个显示器工作，可以预览下一页的，是不是这个问题。

遂改为“使用主显示器”，结果一切正常。
