In JMeter, there are many samplers, here I show you the usage of the JDBC request sampler.
If you need to use JDBC request sampler, you should have a jdbc connection. The following picture show how to configure the jdbc connection.
Fill the username and password of your database. Configure the jdbc driver and database URL.
Note: Please, make usre you have add the driver to the class path of JMeter.
Here I show you how to add the driver to your jmeter class path.
You have done the above steps, you can write the sql now. Add one jdbc request sampler to your test plan, in you test plan, write your sql, and givet the result of sql to a variable. Like the following picture.
Here, I give the result of sql to locCode. How to use this variable?
For example, if the sql return 10 records, you can use locCode_1 which is the result of row1, locCode_2, locCode_3, locCode_4,locCode_5,locCode_6,.....locCode_10, these variables can be used in the test scripts.
