Homebrew是什么？它是Mac上的包管理器，类似CentOS的yum、Ubuntu的apt等，让你下载、管理一条命令搞定，不需要每次去网上搜索、下载。HomeBrew是通过源码的方式来安装软件，但是有时候我们安装的软件是GUI程序应用宝(.dmg/.pkg)，这个时候我们就不能使用HomeBrew了，所以有了HomeBrew Cask的出现。

一、Homebrew

虽然macOS上的命令行界面具有很多在Linux和其他Unix系统中可以找到的功能，但它没有附带一个好的包管理器。包管理器是一组软件工具，可用于自动执行软件安装，配置和升级。他们将安装的软件保存在一个中心位置，并且可以使用常用的格式维护系统上的所有软件包。 Homebrew是一个免费的开源软件包管理系统，可以简化macOS上的软件安装。

Homebrew官网：macOS（或 Linux）缺失的软件包的管理器 — Homebrew。

1. 安装brew，一般直接在终端直接输入命令即可。

/usr/bin/ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)"

如果保证能正常访问源，一镜到底最好不过了。

但在国内安装时，由于网络的问题会报错“curl: (7) Failed to connect to raw.githubusercontent.com port 443: Connection refused”。

解决方法：使用 sudo vim /etc/hosts 命令编辑hosts文件，添加以下内容并保存

199.232.68.133  raw.githubusercontent.com

再次输入上面安装brew的那一条命令就可以下载了。

什么！又报错了！！！没关系，兵来将挡，水来土掩！

这个错误的原因还不知道是为什么（上面明明已经改了源的），可以试着打开https://mirrors.ustc.edu.cn/brew.git ,看到地址其实是好的。

那么就是git 的clone 失败了，那解决办法就是我们自己clone一下吧。

1.首先进入下载了一半的brew目录

cd "$(brew --repo)"

2.进入准备下载homebrew-core的目录

cd Library/Taps/

在这里建立两层目录

mkdir homebrew

cd homebrew/

mkdir homebrew-core

3.进入目录

cd homebrew-core/

4.开始clone

git clone git://mirrors.ustc.edu.cn/homebrew-core.git /usr/local/Homebrew/Library/Taps/homebrew/homebrew-core

命令如下，

$ cd "$(brew --repo)"
$ cd Library/Taps/
Taps$ mkdir homebrew
Taps$ cd homebrew/
home-brew$ mkdir homebrew-core
homebrew$ cd homebrew-core/
homebrew-core$ git clone git://mirrors.ustc.edu.cn/homebrew-core.git

一会就下载完了，运行结果如下，brew就可以用了。

/usr/local/Homebrew/Library/Taps/homebrew/homebrew-core

2. 检查是否安装成功

使用brew -v命令查看其版本

$ brew -v

3. 配置国内镜像源（Homebrew原生的当然是国外源，平时安装下载时会很慢，这里推荐两个镜像源，分别是中科大镜像源和清华镜像源两个，这里选的中科大镜像源）

# 替换homebrew默认源
$ cd "$(brew --repo)"
Homebrew$ git remote set-url origin git://mirrors.ustc.edu.cn/brew.git

# 替换homebrew-core源
Homebrew$ cd "$(brew --repo)/Library/Taps/homebrew/homebrew-core"
homebrew-core$ git remote set-url origin git://mirrors.ustc.edu.cn/homebrew-core.git

# 设置 bintray镜像
homebrew-core$ echo 'export HOMEBREW_BOTTLE_DOMAIN=https://mirrors.ustc.edu.cn/homebrew-bottles' >> ~/.bash_profile
homebrew-core$ source ~/.bash_profile

# brew更新
homebrew-core$ brew update

这样操作之后，homebrew就可以快速下载了。

4. brew应用

待更新

上面遇到的问题比较多，换一种简单的方法，直接换成国内源，一镜到底。

二、Homebrew-cask

brew cask 是在brew 的基础上一个增强的工具，用来安装Mac上的Gui程序应用包（.dmg/.pkg）, 比如qq、chrome等。它先下载解压到统一的目录中（/opt/homebrew-cask/Caskroom），省掉了自己去下载、解压、拖拽（安装）等步骤，同样，卸载相当容易与干净。然后再软链到~/Applications/目录下, 非常方便，而且还包含很多在 AppStore 里没有的常用软件。
