Livelihood Map and Campus Map Making

1. Introduction

 In addition to decision supportting thematic maps, I have also been involved in the production of some other kinds of maps. From the type, they can be classified into campus map and livelihood map. The campus map reflects the history and beauty of Wuhan university from the aspects of scenic spots and historic sites, cultural heritage, discipline construction and daily activities, while the map of people’s livelihood focuses on topics that are closely related to people’s daily life, such as clothing, food, housing, transportation or air pollution. Both the campus map and the livelihood map made by us have aroused a strong response in the society, among which the sakura series map of wuhan university has accumulated more than 1 million views on various internet platforms.
