Installing linux driver for RTL8191SE in Fedora 14 (thinkpad sl410)

First we must download the linux driver for RTL8191SE.

After downloading open your terminal and login as super user.

Now, follow the following commands.

yum install kernel-devel kernel-headers patch make
yum update kernel*
reboot

Then, unpack the downloaded file using,

tar xvzf rtl819***.tar.gz

cd <while the files were unpacked>

make

make install

reboot

Now, We have to restart the network manager,

service NetworkManager restart
