一、File OPEN-ID in CL

Ü    OPNID in DCLF

 ·        Open id is an identifier forany opened file in the CL program.

 

DCLF      FILE(AMIT/ACCOUNT) OPNID(ID1) QUALIFIED FILE NAME - AMIT/ACCOUNT RECORD FORMAT NAME - REC1

Whenwe compile the program, we can see in the spool file that the fields getpre-fixed with the ID name. Hence, each file’s that we declare in CL isrecognized by the unique open-id.

二、CAT BCAT TCAT

Ü   *CAT/*BCAT/*TCAT

 

*CAT or || Joins two strings "as is" *BCAT or |> Joins two strings with a single blankspace between *TCAT or |< Joins two strings trimming firststring

'String One ' *CAT 'StringTwo ' Yields 'String One String Two '

'String One ' *BCAT 'StringTwo ' Yields 'String One String Two '

'String One ' *TCAT 'StringTwo ' Yields 'String OneString Two '
