物主形容词是那些用来表明所表示的人或物属于某人的单词。

his
her
its
our
your
their
这些是物主形容词，总是放在名词之前并且没有数的变化。注意看：
my car my cars
your house your houses
his motorbike his motorbikes
our computer our computers
也没有性别的变化。
our sons our daughters
your boyfriends your girlfriends
现在我们来看一些物主形容词的例句：
She drives my car.
I like your eyes.
He loves his girlfriend.
But she does not love her boyfriend.
This is our dog, Its name is Leo.
This is an old picture, Its price is very high.
We do not want their opinions.（我们不想要他们的建议）
I love her style.
所有这些例子都是肯定式或者否定式句子。
现在，我要举一些有物主形容词的问句例子：
我们也可以把物主形容词和"what"、"which"、"who"、"where"和"how"用在问句中。注意看：
What is his name?
What is her job?
Which is their car?
Where is my friend?
How is your wife?
Who is her husband?
我来教你如何使用单词"own"和"owner"表达所属关系。
我们使用动词"to own"来表达所属关系。我们也可以使用名词"owner"。看这些例子：
He is the owner of a chain of hamburger restaurants.（他是一家连锁汉堡店的老板）
He owns twelve restaurants.（他拥有十二家饭店）
现在，来看一些非常有趣的东西。
单词"own"，也是一个形容词而且只能放在一个物主形容词后面使用。看以下例子：
I don't need to take the bus, I have my own car.
Why don't you use your own computer?（为什么你不用自己的电脑）
He has his own business.（他有自己的生意）
She never uses her own make-up , she alway's takes my things.（她从来不用自己的化妆品，总是用我的东西）
现在，我们再看一些"own"和"owner"的例子：
She owns two houses in the coast.（她在沿海有两栋房子）
We have our own business.（我们有自己的生意）
My sister is the owner of the house.（我的姐姐是房子的户主）
The company owns five buildings.（公司拥有五座楼宇）
He writes his own plays.（他写自己的作品）
I am the owner of the dog.（我是狗的主人）
