According to the Author, Insight is gone from Ubuntu or any other Debian-based OS:

But we can install Ubuntu 9.10, where Insight could still be used.
So....oooops, the steps below are useless.

1. Download the latest release of Insight . Link: ftp://sourceware.org/pub/insight/releases/
(I downloaded the 6.8.1 version. but 2 Errors occured when installed. )
2. unarchive the file.
3. read the README file.
4. run two command:
./configure
make
5. run command: make install
