Thanks for signing up for the Hadoop Platform course. The course includes eight modules. In each module, there'll be a set of lecture videos, together with a set of review questions to help you make sure you've mastered the material, as well as (starting in the second module) a programming exercise in which you'll get to implement these algorithms and see for yourself how they really work. When you complete the course, you'll come away with an in-depth knowledge of Hadoop Platform and associated applications, and of how to get the most powerful Big Data techniques to work on your own applications. If you have friends who might be interested in Big Data technologies, please let them know about the class, and get them to sign up too (maybe forward this email to them).
