11.2.0.4 GI 在 RHEL 7 上安装，执行root.sh脚本出现以下错误信息

SYMPTOMS

During the reconfiguration of Oracle Restart (HAS), the following errors are reported:

ohasd failed to start at /opt/oracle/grid/product/11.2.0/grid/crs//install/roothas.pl line 325.

Similar error can happen during Oracle Restart installation phase when running root.sh.

CAUSE

The problem is caused by init.ohasd not running, ohasd.bin start up is waiting for init.ohasd acknowledgement, hence it is waiting on the pipe /var/tmp/.oracle/npohasd, it times out and fails to startup after 10minutes.

SOLUTION

Please ensure init.ohasd is running. This processs should be started automatically after node reboot or during the installation.

init.ohasd is defined in /etc/inittab for Linux platform prior to Linux 6, run "init q" will start it if it is defined. For Linux 6 it is defined in /etc/init/oracle-ohasd.conf.

One can temporary start the init.ohasd process manually while investigating init.hasd automatic startup issue.

as root user:
# /etc/init.d/init.ohasd run >/dev/null 2>&1 </dev/null &

Then rerun roothas.pl
