The difference between two redis connections in PHP

connect

The life cycle of connect mode is only in the running PHP process, when the process ends, the connection is disconnected.

pconnect

The lifecycle of pconnect mode is in the running php-fpm process. The end of PHP process executed by php-fpm will not close the link. Only when the php-fpm process ends, the connection will be disconnected.

Advantages of pconnect

As described in pconnect above, redis links need not be established frequently to reduce connection consumption.
