TypeError: init() got an unexpected keyword argument ‘syntax’
Reasons: conda will only install C++ version and pip will install python version
solution: use pip to install protobuf instead of conda
conda activate XXX
pip install protobuf==3.4.0
conda install tensorflow-gpu=1.4.0
if there are more than one protobuf, it’s OK.
Done.
