ubuntu 9.04 install mplayer

1.gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

add the source:
      deb http://ubuntu.cn99.com/ubuntu-cn/ feisty main restricted universe multiverse

and then:

      apt-get update

2.apt-get install w32codecs

3.apt-get install mplayer mplayer-fonts mplayer-skin mozilla-mplayer

before the step 3, maybe you need to install one lib(I forget the name, It will be noticed if needed ) in "Synaptic".

OK now to use mplayer to play rmvb, except the 中文乱码。

     apt-get install libstdc++5

solved
