教授回复表示，如果你申请香港中文大学的PhD，学校会在录取后提供三年资助。申请时建议不指定具体研究领域，如前列腺癌，而选择更宽泛的领域，如癌症和炎症。在第一学期，你可以进行实验室轮转并选择合适的导师。此策略可能提高录取机会。申请通常在年底开始，次年2月结束。具备SCI文章发表背景但无近期英语成绩和GT成绩的你，有可能获得申请机会。

Regarding your application, I would encourage you to apply. If you are offered a postgraduate position in CUHK, the university will provide you the financial support (studentship) for 3 years for PhD student. If you apply, I would advise you not to indicate specifically the research areas (e.g. prostate cancer) but only a board field (e.g. Cancer and Inflammation), in your application, as if you are offered a place in our school you can do lab rotation and choose your potential supervisor in the 1st term. I think this may enhance your chance on being admitted. The application will usually start in the end of this year and end in February of next year. 我的情况是发了一篇SCI影响因子7.8的文章，但是英语还是05年的时候过的六级，那时候是百分制。没有G和T的成绩。
