WORKAROUND For release 11i
-----------------------------------
A workaround is to use Define Columns instead of Column Builder, which can make as many columns as needed.
To see more than 20 columns use the Client ADI Report Wizard to build and edit FSG Reports, including column sets, in a spreadsheet environment. Using ADI, you can display a very large number of columns.
Please see Note.131505.1 The Beauty of FSG in ADI: for a quick guide to what is available. NOTE: Client ADI will no longer be available in Release 12.
An Enhancement Request Bug:2965681 FSG HEADING LINE WRAPS FOR FSGS THAT GO PAST COLUMN 220, has been submitted for this functionality.
WORKAROUND for release 12
---------------------------------
The most practical solution is that explained in the Community Forum posting ADI for FSG in R12 , where this was resolved using the Report Manager FSG Template editor feature.
Once you define the Column set, download the template using Report Manager and edit it as required. You can then upload the template to Oracle to use it within General Ledger or Report Manager.
For details of how to use XML Publisher to customize your report to have more than 20 columns, see the Oracle General Ledger User's Guide section on XML Publisher to create a dynamic number of columns, since the number of columns will vary for every FSG report. - BI Publisher Basic Report Templates
