Hello,

I am running through a problem where changes could not be saved until I rename the file name.

After opening excel document from OneDrive client application after editing and while saving changes it gives an error : SERVER FILE UPDATED A new version is available.

Same behaviour found with newly created excel file.

Opened an Excel file and navigated to FILE> Save> and foun an error 'we're sorry, someone updated server copy and its not possible to upload your changes now. Click to resolved to save a copy of the file'.

Please help with this.

解决方案Hi Sanjog,

Try to clear the OfficeFileCache in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0\OfficeFileCache\. Backup the folder before deleting files. Close all Office applications and delete files in this folder. (It's ok if one or

two items cannot be deleted). Then try to open the excel file again, check if you still get the same error.
