科技推动创新

科技推动创新，是明亮的灯塔，将会点亮青少年前行的路途。由东莞市科学技术协会、厚街镇科学技术协会联合举办的“走近科学·向未来”——厚街镇科普讲座活动于9月18日上午在丰泰外国语学校隆重举行！本次活动通过普及保护生态环境、科技创新意识，讲授航空航天知识，帮助青少年认识科学的本质，培养青少年对科学技术的兴趣和爱好，提高其综合运用知识解决问题的能力。

Technology promotes innovation. Technology is a bright beacon that will light the way forward for the next generation.On the morning of September 18, The Houjie Town “Future-Focused Approach to Science” lecture series was grandly presented at RFLS. Jointly organized by The Dongguan Science and Technology Association and The Houjie Science and Technology Association, these lectures were aimed at popularizing technological innovation and spreading awareness of ecological conservation . Additionally, subjects covered included aerospace and the nature of science, cultivating the students’ interest in science and technology and improving their ability to solve problems.

前行的方向

莅临本次活动的有全国生态文明与环境教育联盟常务理事罗淑怡专家，厚街镇科技办、科学技术协会常务副主席方闰妃女士，丰泰外国语学校常务校长张曲波先生，丰泰外国语学校小学部校长丁大泽先生。领导们的关注与关心坚定了丰外的学子们对科学的信念，指明了前行的方向。

The guests and leaders present included expert Luo Shuyi, Executive Director of National Alliance for Ecological Civilization and Environmental Education, Ms. Fang Runfei, Executive Vice Chairman of The Houjie Science and Technology Office and Houjie Science and Technology Association, Mr. Lu Peixin, Secretary General of The Houjie Science and Technology Office and The Houjie Science and Technology Association, Mr. Zhang Qubo, Executive Headmaster of RFLS and Mr. Ding Daze, Headmaster of the Primary School at RFLS. The attention and interest of the RFLS leaders strengthened the students’ faith in science and pointed the way forward.

崇尚科学的热情

一份份科教用品是厚街镇科学技术协会常务副主席方闰妃赠予我校的珍贵礼物。这些科教用品饱含副主席对我们的殷切期盼，唤起了同学们热爱科学、崇尚科学的热情。

Secretary General Lu Peixin gave RFLS a precious gift of science education products, indicating his ardent belief in our school and successfully arousing the enthusiasm of the RFLS students to pursue and promote science education.

共创优美环境

罗淑怡专家的精彩讲座《垃圾分类知多少？》，让学子们了解了生活垃圾前沿处理技术及东莞生活垃圾情况，明白了垃圾分类的重要性，一同深入学习垃圾分类标准，学习对生活中产生的常见垃圾进行分类。地球是所有生物共同的家园，是我们赖以生存的环境，为了我们的家园，为了我们的明天，从今天起，积极参与垃圾分类，共创优美社区环境。

A wonderful lecture by expert ecologist Luo Shuyi—“How Much Do You Know About Sorting Waste?” provided an opportunity for the students to learn about cutting-edge household waste treatment technologies. Detailing the volumes and types of household waste in Dongguan, the lecture exposed the importance of waste sorting, the waste sorting standards we must learn, and the methods available to dispose of everyday household waste. The earth is the common home of all creatures and the environment in which we live. From this day forward, we will actively participate in waste sorting to create a beautiful community environment for our homeland and for our future.

积极走近科学，探寻科技光彩，科学的未来只能属于勤奋而又谦虚的年轻一代。期待学子们不畏艰难，在科学探索的的道路上，在今后的学习生活中不断探索、实践，以科学的态度面对未知领域，以不屈的精神前行！定将成就美好的未来！

We are all called to actively pursue science education and explore the fascinating world of science and technology. The future of science belongs to the diligent and humble young generation. Our young people carry our hopes for the future of scientific advancement. A bright future will surely be achieved as long as our students are not afraid to accept the challenge, explore and practice, face the scientific unknowns, and move forward with an unyielding spirit!
