oracle ebs 移动应用,Oracle EBS应用服务器节点平台迁移的方法论

Oracle EBS R12应用服务器层面支持操作系统的迁移，允许用户把Application Server从现有操作系统平台迁移至其他Oracle EBS认证的操作系统(除Windows外的Linux/Unix)。

平台迁移的好处是，用户可以切换现有应用服务器层到不同的硬件资源(不同的操作系统)，使用新的服务器作为新的应用服务器节点。我们现在就面对着这样的问题，之前的应用服务器和数据库服务器都是在IBM的Power系列的小型机上，但数据库遇到资源方面的瓶颈，需要把Application Server的资源腾出来给DB Server用，Application Server就按照Oracle迁移的这套方法论从小机迁移到其他X86服务器上(X86服务器使用的操作系统是RedHat Linux)。

Oracle EBS平台迁移方法论两个主要Note：

迁移的限制或者条件：

This migration methodology requires at least E-Business Suite version 12.0.4 for Release 12.0 and 12.1.1 (or higher) for Release 12.1.

This methodology applies to the Application Tier (middle tier) only.  The database tier is not covered by this process.

Migration to Windows-based target servers is not supported at this time

The platform migration procedure is not supported with Linux running on IBM System z (Source or Target) at this time.

迁移工作包括三部分工作：准备、迁移、收尾。

一、准备工作：

1、目标服务器操作系统必要软件的准备(包括版本的校验)；

2、目标服务器打上最新的AD Patch；

3、打上最新的AutoConfig模板补丁；

4、打上最新的Rapid Clone补丁；

5、打上最新的迁移补丁；

6、其他补丁；

7、源系统运行AutoConfig；

8、源系统运行adpreclone；

二、迁移工作:

1、Generate and upload the manifest of customer-specific files；

2、Copy the Source System to the Target System；

包含这几个目录：

[APPL_TOP]

[COMMON_TOP]/clone

[COMMON_TOP]/java

[COMMON_TOP]/_pages

[COMMON_TOP]/webapps

[COMMON_TOP]/util

3、Copy the Source System Context File to the Target System；

4、Clone the Applications Context File on the Target System;

5、Install the Application Tier Technology Stack;

6、目标库运行AutoConfig；

三、收尾工作：

1、Update Third Party Extensions

2、Review and update Target System Application Tier Settings and Customizations

3、Update printer settings

4、Update Oracle Workflow configuration settings

5、Start all services on the Target System
