IBM X346 8840I05服务器：IBM ServeRAID 7k ＋ 板载Adaptec 7902B，板载RAID控制器版本号：V4.30.11，两块73G SCSI硬盘，RAID 1，划分二个分区：C和D。由于工作需要，需要对其重新安装Windows 2003 STD版本。用系统光盘启动安装失败，提示“安装程序没有找到安装在此计算机上的硬盘驱动器”的蓝屏错误信息，如下图所示。

在网上查找相关的主题，原因是需要在安装系统的时候加载SCSI Host Raid 驱动程序。
 
在IBM官网的技术知识库中有这样一篇文章，“在Xseries236上安装Windows 2000 Serves中文版（SCSI型号）”（文章编号:RLAN-6AXFV5），网址： http://www-900.ibm.com/cn/support/viewdoc/detail?DocId=RLAN-6AXFV5。该文提示：如果启用RAID功能，当屏幕上出现“Press F6 if you have third party SCSI and Raid device”时按F6 ，系统开始检测硬件，按S 键，加载SCSI Host Raid 驱动程序(Adaptec HostRAID U320 Driver Ver 3.00 For Windows 2000/XP/2003)， 按 “ENTER 系统开始初始拷贝。
 
受此文的启发，在IBM中文网站上查找X346的驱动程序。

1、点击“支持与下载”-“下载”-“驱动程序和软件下载”。

2、点击“驱动程序下载”下的“System x （x 系列服务器）”。

3、在“Product family”中选择“xSeries 346”，继续选择“8840”，在问题类型中选择“Windows 2003”。

4、单击“标题”下方的“x系列服务器 & PC服务器 >> xSeries 346 >>8840驱动程序一览表”。

5、在“驱动程序一览表”中单击“8840”。

6、单击“Adaptec Ultra 320 SCSI 驱动程序（Windows 2000/2003）v3.00”。

7、下载“26k9207.exe”，并解压到软盘中。

用系统盘启动安装，按F6加载该程序，但还是提示上面的蓝屏错误信息。

然后在网上搜索“Adaptec HostRAID U320 Driver Ver 3.00 For Windows 2000/XP/2003”，在ADAPTEC网站上找到了该驱动程序。

将文件解压到软盘后，当屏幕上出现“Press F6 if you have third party SCSI and Raid device”时按F6 ，系统开始检测硬件，按S 键，加载SCSI Host Raid 驱动程序(Adaptec HostRAID U320 Driver Ver 3.00 For Windows 2000/XP/2003)， 按 “ENTER”系统开始初始拷贝。

这次能识别硬盘，并可以继续安装操作系统了。

总结此次安装过程中所遇到的问题及解决过程，由于IBM客服人员因机器过保不再提供技术支持，面对X346对应Windows 2003的驱动程序一览表中，我也没有弄清楚应该下载哪个程序，也许是我没有下载到正确的驱动程序，否则就是官网的驱动程序有误。通过系统盘安装系统的好处是，保证了C盘以外的分区数据安全，避免使用ServerGuide CD安装系统造成全硬盘数据丢失。
