Some general principles that should be followed:

- No sclice without figure(s)

It will help your slides more vividly.

- Don't shift/move infomations showed

For some slides you want animations, you may first emphasize some text with a larger font, but the better way is just change the color, no anything else.

- Circle(or highlight) the part being showed in the figure

- If there is a figure illustrating the text, show it immediately rather than split it into two slides(with pdf you may have to separate one slide into several to imitate an animation).

The audiences always want the interesting part immediately, rather than the boring text.

- Where there is a figure, illustrate it first, i.e., show the audiences what the x/y-axis is, what does the turning point mean or how does it come
