oracle 10g安装失败,关于oracle 10g安装出错问题

各位大小帮忙看看

在tru64上安装oracle时遇到一个严重问题，每次点击install按钮的时候程序立刻抛错，错误信息如下：

SEVERE: Abnormal program termination. An internal error has occured. Please provide the following files to Oracle Support :

都是类似的以上信息，我在安装前得到提示说：

Actual Result: 510MB

Problem: The system does not have sufficient physical memory to perform the install.

Recommendation: Increase the amount of physical memory available to your system before continuing with the installation.

查看系统内存，总共2g，但是在启动安装进程，该进程占用1.1g，加上其他进程，系统可用内存只有500m左右

我想确认的是，内存不足是否会导致这样类似的错误？ 谢谢！！

我装的是java1.3  没装java1.4   如果改装1.4 是否会导致安装进程占用内存减少呢？ 谢谢！！
