First, the nature and characteristics of the course
The use and maintenance of computer peripheral is an elective practical course for computer and software technology in higher education self taught examination. In the use of computers, the vast majority of failures occur on peripheral devices. Therefore, as a computer professional, must have the knowledge of peripheral equipment, in order to be competent for the computer system configuration, use, maintenance and system integration, development work. This course according to the actual needs of work, starting from the understanding of the use of peripheral equipment, function, principle, problems of various types of peripheral equipment and their development are comprehensively reviewed; and describes the structure and working principle of some typical equipment.
This course has two distinct features: one is comprehensiveness, and two is practicality.
Two, curriculum objectives and basic requirements
