Abstract：With the rapid development of mobile internet, more and more mobile users are becoming interested in keeping in touch with their friends with instant communication services such as QQ, MSN, and VoIP. However the heartbeat packet of these services consumes large amount of radio resource, and it may sometimes even occupy the bandwith of the traditional voice service. To solve this problem, the author of this article comes up with the core network solution based on deep packet investigation, and demonstrates its feasibility by simulation programs.
