        Last week, I read the last four chapters of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technologies and watched the corresponding video lectures, which are Alternative Mining Puzzles, Bitcoin as a Platform, Altcoins, and the Cryptocurrency Ecosystem, and The future of Bitcoin.

        1. Learned the three core features of mining puzzle design: difficulty adjustability, fast verification, and process-free. Understand the design of Scrypt and X11 successfully applied to other Altcoins.

        2. Through historical examples of the use of Bitcoin for criminal activities, such as the drug-trafficking website Silk Road, understand the importance of government regulation of the Bitcoin community. Learned the BitLicense policy.

        3. Learned the kinds of applications of Bitcoin as a platform. For example, the establishment of a secure time stamping system can apply for patents, as well as extended applications such as CommitCoin and Counterparty. Smart open asset use that applies Colored Coins to issue company stocks. Use Bitcoin beacons to generate completely just and fair random bits.

        4. Learn about a variety of Altcoins, such as Namecoin, Litecoin, Futurecoin, etc. And the premature death and common mining problems in Altcoins. Learned about Ethereum, one of the Altcoins that have attracted much attention. It is committed to providing a programmable language that meets the requirements of Turing computing, with which scripts or contracts can be written. And the major application of Ethereum in the financial field.
