How to use Qemu

I will give you example to use qemu to emulate u-boot running.

eg:

$qemu-system-arm -M vexpress-a9 -nographic -m 512M -kernel u-boot

Here lists the brief explanation:

• qemu-system-arm means we are trying to simulate the arm environment.
  

• -M vexpress-a9 means we are simulating the vexpress-a9 board, and there are a lot of open source project are supporting this borad, such as U-boot, Linux, TEE maybe.
  

• -nographic means that there is no Qemu simulation window

• -m means memory you want to give to the guest
  

• -kernel means the kernel image you want to run
  

for more information,  you can using

$qemu-system-arm -help

*exit the qume*

you can use the key  ctrl+a and x

and there are 3 xen related command, I just write down here, later we can check what it means.

-xen-domid id   specify xen guest domain id
-xen-create     create domain using xen hypercalls, bypassing xend
                warning: should not be used when xend is in use
-xen-attach     attach to existing xen domain
                xend will use this when starting QEMU
