一、Download and Extract the Installation Software

1.

Download the p5337014_10203_LINUX.zip patch set

i nstallation archive to a directory that is not the Oracle home

d irectory or under th

e Oracle home directory.

2.

Enter the following command to unzip and extract the

i nstallation files:

$ unzip p5337014_10203_LINUX.zip

二、Set the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID Environment Variables

Enter the following commands to set the ORACLE_HOME and

O RACLE_SID environment variables: (已经配置，可略)

In these examples, Oracle_home is the Oracle home directory

w here the Oracle Database 10g installation that you want to

u pgrade is installed, and sid is the system identifier of the

d atabas

e that you want to upgrade. For Oracle RAC installations, s id is generally the sid prefix and the instance number. For

e xample, devdb1.

三、Stopping All Processes for an Oracle RAC Installation

1、Shut down the following Oracle Database 10g processes before

i nstalling the patch set:

A、Shut down all processes in the Oracle home on each node that m ight be accessing a database, for example Oracle Enterprise

M anager Database Control or iSQL*Plus:

$ emctl stop dbconsole

$ isqlplusctl stop
