一、查看linux版本命令

[root@localhost ~]# lsb_release -a

Distributor ID: CentOS

Description: CentOS release 5.7 (Final)

Release: 5.7

Codename: Final

[root@localhost ~]#

这个命令适用于所有的linux，包括Redhat、SuSE、Debian等发行版。

[root@localhost ~]# cat /etc/redhat-release

CentOS release 5.7 (Final)

[root@localhost ~]#

这种方式下可以直接看到具体的版本号,适用于redhat centos系统

[root@localhost ~]# cat /etc/issue

CentOS release 5.7 (Final)

Kernel \r on an \m

[root@localhost ~]#

二、查看内核版本命令

[root@localhost ~]# cat /proc/version

Linux version 2.6.18-238.el5 (mockbuild@builder10.centos.org) (gcc version 4.1.2 20080704 (Red Hat 4.1.2-48)) #1 SMP Thu Jan 13 16:24:47 EST 2011

[root@localhost ~]#
