Abstract：When predicting the mechanical properties of the metal matrix composites,this paper begins with microstructure.of the metal matrix composites. Using the simulation software MATLAB,simulate the randomly distribution of the particles einforced metal matrix composites.In the whole rocess,considering the shape,dimension,volume fraction and distribution of particles and matrix,build the unit cell models of randomly positioned particles embedded in a matrix,In the program of producing the cell,The same dimensional round particles randomly distribute in the matrix,the position of them is produced by the MATLAB.Besides,they cann’t touch each other and matrix.Then finish the program based on the method of homogenization and the finite element analysis.Predict the effective modulus and compare with the experimental data.The result is good.
