GitHub 由 Chris Wanstrath, PJ Hyett 与 Tom Preston-Werner 三位开发者在2008年4月创办。迄今拥有59名全职员工，主要提供基于 git 的版本托管服务。

相比 Wox、Listary 提倡的纯键盘操作，纯鼠标操作或许也是个不错的选择。
