Story

• Hi, I’m Felix. A few years ago, I had my first job interview.
• I did pretty good in college, so I was really confident.
• But do be honest, I had no idea of what to expect in an interview.
• I thought: all I’d need to do is talk about myself.
• How hard could it be? I want to leave a good first impression at the interview.
• So the day of the interview, I spent a lot of time picking my clothes.
• But when I finally arrived at the interview, I was ten minutes late.
• Then I realized I had left resume at home.
• Even though the interviewer said it was okay, she seemed pretty unhappy.
• During the interview, I tried to introduce myself, but my phone started ring.
• I muted my phone, but then I completely forgot what I was taking about…
• Even worse, I got cut off by the interviewer twice because I kept mispronouncing the company’s name.
• The interview didn’t last long. It only ten minutes.
• Apparently, the interviewer wan’t satisfied with me.
• When I stood up leave the room, she looked at me and said, "Next time, please be prepared before you come to an interview.
• I could never forget that advice.
• Later that day, I received a call.
• It was from the company
• They said, “Is this Felix? We’d like to tell you about your interview result.”
• And I said “OK”
• Then they said, “Congratulations! You got the job and welcome on board!”
• Just kidding.
• That did not happen.
