CSG

闭合用户组（Closed Subscriber Group，CSG）是3GPP R8（3GPP，25.367 [1]  ）中引入的概念，意为可连接家庭基站的用户集合；也称封闭用户组。

• 每个CSG由一个CSG ID标识，同一用户可属于多个CSG；
• UE维护一张CSG identities的白名单列表在 USIM中，在这个列表之外的其他CSG ID所对应的CSG小区对该UE而言是不可访问的；
• 每个CSG小区广播一个CSG ID，这个CSG ID所标识的闭合用户群的成员可以访问该小区；
• CSG模式需要终端和核心网的支持，在R8之前的终端和核心网都无法使用CSG功能；
•  每个CSG identity应该关联到一个subscriber group, 那个组标识了允许访问的CSG用户：

    （1）当用户组被更新的时候, 这些信息能够被通过网络传送到属于这个用户组的UEs
    （2）当用户组被更新的时候,受影响的UE和注册的CGS所有者一样要被通知

• 在一个PLMN中应该能够支持至少125 million CSG Identities；
• 运营商能够配置H(e)NBs的访问模式(open/closed/hybrid)；

    （1）当H(e)NB被配置为open/hybrid访问模式, H(e)NB应该提供服务给任何PLMN用户 (不属于他的关联的CSG)；
    （2）当H(e)NB被配置为closed访问模式, 只有属于它的关联CSG的用户才能被提供服务；

A closed subscriber group (CSG) is a limited set of users with connectivity access to a femtocell.

When a femtocell is configured in CSG mode, only those users included in the femtocell's access control listare allowed to use the femtocell resources.

On the other hand, a femtocell can be also configured in Open Access mode, in which any user is allowed access to the femtocell.

A closed access femto will accept LAU (Location Area Update) only from a subscriber who is in the ACL (Access Control List) of the femto, the other subscriber, named as Public User, who is not in the ACL will get a reject.
