The invention provides a game server cluster, comprising a gateway server, a login server, a public information server, a game server and a physical database. A memory database server is connected between the login server and the physical database for storing partial game data as first data so as to be invoked by the login server directly. When the first data do not comprise the data needed to be invoked by the login server, the login server invokes the data from the physical database; therefore the bottleneck problem of reading and writing the game server for many times is solved, mass data are sequenced, the loading speed and themap skipping speed of the player are improved, and the bottleneck problem of reading and writing the database and synchronizing data is eliminated.
