英语——动名词（一）

动名词，就是在动词的原形上加上ing，使其具有主词，补语或者受词的功能，动名词具有名词的特性，同事子啊内容上与具有动词的功能。

1 动名词用法

当主词

cooking in the open air is good fun.

重点

动名词当主词是，也可以用假主词It d代替。改为不定词
It’s good fun to cook in the open air.

当补语

The best exercise in winter is skiing.

重点

用不定词当补语，表目的、计划、意愿、未完成的事
动名词当补语，表经验、已知的事
My hobby is finishing in the lake.

当及物动词的受词

1 You have to give up traveling.

当介词的受词

He got scolded for being late for school.
He left room without saying a word.

重点

下列句子中的to为介词，其后接动名词。
I’m looking forword to seeing you again.
I am used to getting up early.
He devoted his life to curing scik in Africa.
He is giving to lying.

to之后用不定词或动名词皆可。
He is accustomed to live/living alone

动名词当受词

admit , avoid , consider , delay , deny , enjoy, escape ,finish ,give up
imagine , keep ,mind ,miss, postpone ,put off, resist ,practice ,suggest

Have you finished writting an answet to his letter.
Fortunately ,he escaped getting hurt.

重点

下列动词，其受词为不定词或动名词，其意思不变
start ,begin , cease ,continue ,like ,dislike ,fear ,hate ,intend
attempt ,love ,neglect ,omit ,prefer ,propose .

下列动词，其受词为不定词或动名词事其意思改变
try, remember ,forget ,stop ,regret

动词意义上的主词

整个句子的主词与动名词不同时，
需要表明动名词意义上的主词。

所有格 + 动名词/ 受格+动名词

I can’t stand his shouting when he is angry.

名词+ 动名词/ 名词‘s + 动名词

She is proud of her son being clever

含动名词的惯用表现

There is no Ving ~
