   A computer network is a digital telecommunications network which allows nodes to share resources

3. What is nod ?
it’s the somthing like switch firewall server and client
4. what is the server ?
the server is a device that provides functions or services for clients
5. what is LAN ?
Lan means local area network

Characteristic of Switch
1 it has many interfaces for end hosts to connect
2 provide connectivity to hosts within the same LAN

Characteristic of router
1 It has fewer network interfaces than switches
2 it is used to provide connectivity between LANs
3 used to send data over the internet

Characteristic of Firewalls
1 monitor and control netwok traffic based on configures rules
2 can be placed ‘inside’ the network ,or 'outside 'the network
(it means that firewall can filter the traffic beforer it reaches the router , or it has passed through the router )

The process of data sending
If PC1 in the NewYork Branch want a file one SRv1 in the Tokyo Branch .
it will send request to R1 via SW1, which will forward it over the internet to R2
Which will then send it to SRv1 via SW2
