1. go to home directory: cd
2. Create the “projects” directory on : mkdir /mnt/c/users/huangyan/desktop/projects
3. Create the link to “projects”: ln -s /mnt/c/users/huangyan/desktop/projects
4. Verify it points to the Windows directory: ls -l
5. open 'projects' in home directory: cd projects
6. create 'newfile' in projects: mkdir newfile
7. remove 'newfile': rm -rf newfile
