有多种程序可用于分析定量数据。

两个最基本的类型是：

• 综合测量 Summary Measures
• 方差度量 Variance Measures

综合测量 Summary Measures

使用综合测量时要考虑的问题包括：

• 数据是如何聚合的？
• 什么是“典型”（平均）值？
• 一个群体的中间（中心）在哪里？

综合测量的分类：

1. Mean 平均数

1. Mean

• Mean = “Arithmetic average” of the scores
• Example: scores = 64, 70, 80, 80, 90, 98, 100
  Mean = Sum of values divided by number of
  scores: 64 + 70 + 80 + 80 + 90 + 98 + 100 = 582
  582 ÷ 7 = 83.14
