navicat链接mysql时报版本过低错误

报错信息

1251 client does not support authentication protocol requested by server;consider upgrading Mysql client
ERROR 1396 (HY000): Operation ALTER USER failed for ‘root’@‘localhost’

解决方案

mysql -uroot -p
输入密码
use mysql;
select user,host from user;	
ALTER USER 'root'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED WITH mysql_native_password BY 'root';	
// 注意root对应的host是'localhost',有的是'%',	最后的'root' 是你的登录密码
FLUSH PRIVILEGES;

示例如下

C:\Users\Administrator>mysql -uroot -p
Enter password: ****
Welcome to the MySQL monitor. Commands end with ; or \g.
Your MySQL connection id is 15
Server version: 8.0.26 MySQL Community Server - GPL
