Cyanine3-PEG-Biotin is a fluorescent biotin PEG derivative that can be used for fluorescence detection and imaging. Cy3 is a red fluorescent dye with an excitation/emission wavelength of 550nm/570nm. Cy3 labeled PEG biotin emits a strong red fluorescence signal, and biotin groups can be used to target and bind to biotin or streptavidin. The PEG junction between biotin and Cy3 fluorescent groups provides better water solubility, flexible junction structure, and enhanced stability.
