File Touch  1.0+

The FileTouch application was designed to be a small tool that modifies file date / times on individual files, or sets of files. No installation, simply copy & paste the single EXE file where you need it. Run the single executable, fill out the form, then click the Touch button. File Touch is useful when developing or testing software, there are times when you need to reset a file's date and time created, last modified, and/or last accessed. Note that FileTouch also runs in command line mode for simple batch file execution allowing you to automate your testing.

 

DAE  1.6

DAE is an easy to use utility designed to modify the dates and attributes of a file or list of files. DAE (Date and Attribute Editor) offers an easy to use and intuitive interface. No installation necessary, DAE is a single EXE that can be run from any location on your hard drive. To remove DAE simply delete this file.

 

Attribute Changer  6.10+

Attribute Changer is a power user tool to change all kinds of file and folder attributes, date, time and even NTFS compression. It features an easy to use interface and is loaded with exciting features. Basic features include changing file and folder attributes within, en mass. Be aware that not all attributes are available on every Windows platform, but Attribute Changer is smart enough to handle all these exceptions without problems. Attribute Changer also allows you to repair corrupt file and folder dates. Corrupt dates are represented by values not falling in the range from 1 January 1980 to 31 December 2099.

 

SetFileDate  1.1

Utility to alter the time and date of one or more selected files. There's several such utilities available, but we've found most of them to be too large, too complex, or too expensive! SetFileDate is small, easy to use, and free.

 

Clear Read-Only  1.0

Clear Read-Only is a powerful tool for clearing the Read-Only file attribute. You can easily change all files & folders and there are several options for customizing operation types like Include subfolders, Apply to files, Apply to folders.

 

Hidefiles  1.01

Toggles the HIDDEN property of all the files or folders in a given directory. I use it to keep my desktop looking pretty but it could also be used to hide files for security reasons. Graphical Interface for choosing folder to use, alternate version available for hiding one file or one folder. Requires the .NET platform, will run on other versions of Windows if this is installed.
