[PHP]How to get the system info?

In my daily work, i use Ruby, Python and PHP. In the Ruby language, we can leverage the RubyConfig module to get the all of the system info which the Ruby run-time resides in. There are also os and system module in the Python world to harness the system and platform information. However, it is much easier to get the same result through PHP because the PHP language offers some global constant variables and built-in functions.
